Keeping the map free, honest, and growing.

The Autisticrits is a sensory and accessibility review project that maps how welcoming — or how hostile — everyday places actually are for neurodivergent, and specifically autistic, people. Every review is a firsthand, honest account - written by and for autistic people - with details and perspectives that rarely show up in an ordinary review.

The goal is twofold — to help autistic people find places where they can actually exist and engage with our world, and to make the case that accessible design is a collective responsibility that makes spaces better for everyone.

This project has been created, and is run by two burned-out, disabled, autistic adults, entirely on a volunteer and mission-driven basis. There's no advertising, nothing is sponsored, and we purposely and adamantly stay free from any financial influence. This will always be the case. If the map has helped you — or you just believe in the work — you can help keep it going, and growing.

Give whatever feels right — a single coffee or several. Every bit goes straight toward reaching more places and keeping the map free for everyone.

Not in a position to give? Sharing the map, following along, or submitting a review of your own helps just as much. You can also explore the map to see the project in action.
